  • I know this has been I think 2 years since the whole April Fools incident, and I just want to apologize for freaking out over it. I guess back then I was just a kid who was going through a hard time, I just exploded. I shouldn't have done that. Its been 2 years, I've taken the time to grow up about things like this and I realized exploding over Nazi jokes was too much. This is just an apology message.

Oh, and P.S. I found some great footage of someone recording their entire playthrough of the Impossible Quiz, here is the video . I hope you have a great April Fools Day!

    • Oh god, he needs to be confronted... But sadly, he doesn't even have a validized account, so it will be harder to give him any consequences.

  • *looks around* well this is underwhelming.

Ah, don't you remember me, that person who constantly nagged and bossed you around then later fell into a coma from copper intoxication? Yea, more or less, whatever floats your boat.

So I came here to make a few confessions and clarifying things and stuff, not that you'd really give damn or anything - you're likely busier than ever with college and other problems to do so. Anyway, here's something to kick things off: I didn't fall into a coma.

    *shields self from incoming bullets*

I've been having an extensive episode of depression, which hasn't been made clear due to me acting immature and happy to hide it. It's been lots of personal issues and indescribable things that I've been going through, sending my mental state plummeting with issues like family, dysphoria, loneliness, identity, and other stuff. At the moment I'm typing this, there are ~20 freshly cut self-harm scars on my right arm. So anyway, I decided, at one point, to say "I can't be dealing with this wiki anymore, there's too much going on right now and I just can't continue right now," so I made up a fake excuse to go on hiatus.

I'd rather not touch on my issues at all, and you'd rather not know either. But let just say that I've come back for a bit after many months of depression and attempted suicide to say that my condition is still not suitable enough to contribute to this wiki, and quite frankly, I never gave much of a damn about TIQ either. As a matter of fact *leans close to your ear and whispers* I never passed a single quiz before. And with that, I'm here to drop a weight off my chest and say goodbye.

It's been more than 2 1/2 years since I first came here through my first account, so it's kind of sad saying goodbye to something that's been for 1/8 of my life (yea, you're talking to someone who's a sophomore (10th grade) in high school *lowers head in shame*) So yea, I won't be contributing to this wiki from here on out, whether there's a The Impossible Dream or not, I'm leaving. I might be responding to a few messages for a few months, but other than that, farewell. Feel free to respond to this though, I'll respond if you so wish.

Thanks for bothering to read this if you didn't skip/skim your way here, but most importantly, thank you for putting up with me for the past 2 years and being friendly - I'm not really good at socializing so it's rare to see someone do such a thing for me. I also hope you've had a decent time over these past months, knowing you're in college and life is a lot more difficult than it was when you didn't even know how to read.

    Bye, Matt.

    • Hey

I'm actually at a loss for words, but at the same time really glad I got to read this (given I got a mail informing me of this message). To be fair... a couple months after you left I kinda started to lose interest in the Wiki, what with the lack of activity and having to keep vandalism and such under control... I could've completely missed this.

I can't really blame you for what happened to you though, nor I can't blame you for not asking for help, since I kiiiinda know how that sort of issues work (been reading a lot about depression ever since I joined Tumblr... lots of stuff happens there heh). Truth is, no one can be blamed for all that, but it's quite a shame that you didn't reach out to me for help whenever you needed it; I assure I would've been there, even if you couldn't explicitly talk about the issues in question. Mental illnesses are among the worst things that could happen in someone's life, and worst of all, it's completely out of the person's control.

In completely different circumstances I would've been mad at all this, but I understand what happened and I conclude no one is to blame for anything. On top of the Wiki and everything related to it, your mental health/health in general is way more important. I'll be perfectly fine with any decision you make regarding the Wiki; however, if there's something I had to ask, is that you reach out for help if you haven't yet. Not necessarily with me, but with whoever's deemed appropriate for it, because I care about your well being and I'm terrified of the idea of you cutting your arms, let alone taking your life. Things will get better, they always do; just gotta give it time.

I can't guarantee I'll be keeping an eye out for the Wiki anymore (though I'll definitely do it if TID comes out), but what I CAN guarantee is: if you need help with anything, wanna discuss about something bothering you, or just randomly chit chat and get along or whatever, I'll still be there for you. Nowadays I'm using mostly Tumblr.

Regardless of what happens, I'm more than glad I got to socialize with you, even if it was a tad limited. Also thank you for the wishes, and I wish you nothing but the best in your life. Please take care, and stay strong.

  • I noticed that the TIQB page is fully protected by yourself now. However, I have a trivia about the game's Chapter 1 title: Close Encounters of the Furred Kind.

Actually, it's a parody of a 1977 film Close Encounters of the Third Kind, can you add it to the trivia section of TIQB?

      Loading editor
    • Got it, I'll add it right away. I might as well add the puns related to the other two chapters, since apparently we haven't done that before. Thanks!

  • Can you block the user Jordan5764957649? He vandalized this page. (I reverted it though).

      Loading editor
    • I don't think that's enough of a reason to consider it vandalism, since what he tried to add to the page kinda made sense (except for the <THIS EDIT BY ME> part, that's atrocious); I won't block him. That said, I still have to check if what he says is true.

If he keeps on doing that though, I will block him. Thanks for your concern.

  • I'll be back in two months if I don't lose interest in this wiki (which has already occurred several years ago). What I'll be doing in the meantime is confidential. While I'm gone, change the poll every 2 weeks, check up on the community every once in a while, delete comments/replies created from this point on that you dislike, etc.

I'll also temporarily change my profile pic to a loli that may watch over you while I'm away.

    • Oh good, I'll be supervised by a loli~ u 3u

Don't worry, I'll keep checking the recent activity page daily as usual. I'll see what I can do with the poll though... Have fun/Good luck/Whatever happens! ^^

    • Please read.

I'm taking going out of my way to alert you that "two months" is likely not going to be the case. As of 4 hours ago, I've been diagnosed with chronic acute copper toxicity. Due to the nature of this specific case, I'll be much more than two months that I'll return to this wiki, but I'll be sure to proclaim the day I leave the hospital. The eta is ~5 months - eternity, as the chance of me dying is relatively exceptional too. In other words, if I haven't made a comeback in over a year, I've passed away.

If my doomsday is nigh, I expect a funeral you to complete my to-do list as my valedictory corpse cannot do so:

      • Revamp the wiki to look more like this
      • Promote this wiki
      • Add background to Tumblr feed (Template:SplappFeed 2.0)
      • Add gifs to every question pic

Most importantly, I'd like you to binge-watch the anime Black Bullet if I die (I'm dead serious [pun not intended]).

Anyway, wish me luck in hospitalization.

    • Well shoot, as if I wasn't stressed enough already.

I hope everything turns out alright for you. I certainly can't say everything will be alright, so I'll just hope and pray for the best I guess.

I'll do my best with the Wiki. I don't want to promise much because my irl schedule has been hectic ever since I started college again last month and I would rather focus on doing other stuff (be it free time or busy/college stuff).

I do promise that I'll keep checking the "Recent activity" tab every day and monitoring it as much as I can, since that's something I know I can accomplish right now.

  • On this website (http://freetoelay.weebly.com/the-impossible-book-chapter-3.html) it has all of the answers and meanings written the exact same way as the answers for TIQBC3. It's probably for the rest of them too, but I'm too lazy to check :P I'm asking if that website got permission, or you don't know and they probably just copied and pasted, etc.

  • "Every once in a while a revolutionary product [sic] comes along that changes everything."

    --Steve Jobs

It's been nearly a decade since the last release of something phenomenal has occurred, the invention of the iPhone, to be exact. Walk across a slum nowadays and find numerous in humans' hands. They would happily tap away, endowing their soul to these. When in a financial, communicative, or tedious endeavor, they'd just reach into their back pockets to pull out this miniature trinket that was like a deity: they'd be able to instantaneously solve their problems in the swipe of a finger.

    However, halcyon cannot be eternal.

Overmorrow, those same humans will almost certainly be masochistically butchered by these devices, as they've come to channel the hell that cannot be prevented from bestowing upon us. I'm not hinting cybernetic revolt, but something more primitive, yet equally conflicting.

What the skimpy CEO intended was intentional. Omnipresent humans would be dwelling internally into their iphones like a fleet of worker bees coming by overly-sexualized depictions of their queen bee. You should be hyperconscious on this matter, with the press submerging themselves in these. It's become outdated, not that it's ever become indated. It's relished its reliquency in the market, but it's scathed it's own innovation, fading away from existence.

But that's a tangent too much, before I begin going off into writing mode in which paragraphs become pages and vocabulary quite literally skyrockets past superior knowledge.

What has been littering this wiki ever since dawn, were mediocre quality images. There's been various attempts at reversing it, usually through reuploading as so-called High Definition, or HD images. They were...exceptionable.

    Exceptionable.

They're axiomatically lackluster in quality. Sure, you could always go towards the traditional route of UHD, or Ultra High Definition, but we're not running some raunchy outdated tv shop. We're not running a fucking IBM Star from the 1970s. Quote me on that. That's why, I present to you, the future of image definitions.

OHD, or Omega High Definition. A picture tells a thousand words, but an OHD picture speaks much more than a puny thousand. It's best to show you an example rather than go into the details.

Update: Wikia seemed to compress this image into a glitchy catastrophe. Thus, I may only be able to display this example glitched and full-sized. Forcing Wikia to produced an uncompressed version, it would take ~9 hours, which I don't have at the moment.

    • Hey! Any help is appreciated, especially if you know what you're dealing with. Either way that's mostly Overclocker's doing, I'm just following his/her instructions. You can take a look at this thread if you want, and maybe you can get some stuff done in the meantime ^^

PS: don't hesitate in making yourself a Wikia account so we can better communicate between each other!
